"Color Texture No.1" by Mike Pitzer
One of the beautiful things about working freely without preconceived ideas of what you want to create is the explosion of creativity that can happen. My painting, “Color Texture No.1” is one of those moments of discovery. The way the dyes and acrylics melded together to create running pools of color and texture also brought about the sensation of movement. Something I wasn’t trying to achieve.
